A post by renowned author Paulo Coelho went viral as he uploaded a photo of an autorickshaw from Kerala with his name on it.
Paulo Coelho is one of the most renowned and appreciated authors in the entire world. His book, The Alchemist, took the world by storm and became a bestseller across the globe. Recently, the Brazilian writer shared a post that showcased the love of a fan from India for him.
As opposed to one-liners and jokes written on the back of public transport vehicles in India, this autorickshaw took the desi part of Twitter by surprise after Paulo Coelho tweeted the photo.
Coelho tweeted the photo of an auto from Kerala, which had the name of the author written on the back, along with the title of his book, The Alchemist, written at the bottom in Malayalam. The author posted the image with the caption, “Kerala, India (thank you very much for the photo).”
According to local media reports, the auto belongs to a 55-year-old man from Kerala named KA Pradeep. Soon after the image was tweeted, it went viral on Twitter, with several Indian fans of the author appreciating the gesture and expressing their love for Paulo Coelho.
The tweet uploaded by the author has over 21,000 likes and over 300 replies, most of which are from Coelho’s Indian fanbase.
After the post went viral, the auto owner, KA Pradeep, was ecstatic. Pradeep was elated after finding out about the tweet and the kind words of the author. As per local media reports, the autowala is a bibliophile who has been reading all the books by Paulo Coelho available in Malayalam. He also stated that The Alchemist is his favourite book.
The Alchemist, which is the most popular book by the author, has been an inspiration for many. The book, which was published in 1988, has the main message to pursue your dreams by following what your heart desires.
