Ninth standard student killed in Nashik

A quarrel between two students led to the death of a ninth standard boy here, police said.
    
The 15-year-old Akshay Anilkumar Potti, student of St. Francis Convent School, was allegedly assaulted by his schoolmate over a minor dispute in the school premises, police said.

Akshay received severe injuries on various parts of his body and was rushed to the nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at around 12.00 noon, police said.

"A minor dispute between Akshay and Sanket Khare (15) led to a fight in the school premises this morning in which Akshay received injuries and rushed to Lifeline hospital, where he succumbed to his injury," police said.

After the incident the school was closed down.
