Stripes are classic and can never go out of style and are always a runway story regardless of seasons. However, this time they assumed joyful proportions especially Christopher Bailey’s LGBTQ-inspired stripes seen on the puffer jackets at Burberry. From Ashish’s exuberant take on the rainbow stripes to Osman’s bold play of primary hues to JW Anderson’s sportified update on the classic staples — London Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2018 saw designers going wild with colour play. Multi-toned stripes were also seen at Richard Malone and Warm.
