AAP had sarcastically suggested that the '2 States' author be appointed the next RBI governor.

Everyone who heard of former cricketer Chetan Chauhan's appointment as chairman of the National Institute of Fashion Technology mocked the decision made by the BJP-led central government.
Twitter had another field day, and Arvind Kejriwal's AAP went ahead with a few suggestions for appointments to other government institutions - actor Anupam Kher as the ISRO chief, former Maharashta Minister Eknath Khadse as the NIA chief, and author Chetan Bhagat as the next RBI governor!
However, the best-selling author has not taken the party's comment in his stride. In his usual way of responding via Twitter, he posted a series of tweets 'requesting AAP to behave in a decent manner.'
Just on this news. Neither am I interested, nor am in the running for the RBI guv job. Nor do I have a view on NIFT. https://t.co/OgbKsuUDi2

I would request AAP to behave in a decent manner and not do mud-slinging PR like the news in the last tweet.

Dear AAP, as you mock me, assure u had i ever done (am not) the RBI guv job, would be able to do it better than many others.

AAP should tell its lo-IQ spokespersons to think twice before attacking others, though i understand thinking isn't their strong point.

I love writing stories too much. But dear AAP, given my prev job I know economies and monetary policies better than any of you ever will.
