The who's who of US industry turned up at a roundtable with PM Modi.

On Saturday, PM Modi met top American CEOs of global giants global giants, including Apple, Microsoft and Google, in Washington, with issues ranging from visas, investment and job creation expected to occupy centerstage during the discussions. Modi arrived in the US capital on Sunday for his three-day visit during which he will also interact with members of the Indian diaspora at a relatively low-key community event in a Virginia suburb neighbouring Washington DC.
Speaking at the US CEOs roundtable, PM Modi said: “The whole world is looking at India. 7,000 reforms alone by GOI for ease of biz n minimum govt, max governance. Growth of India presents win-win partnership for India & US both, US cos. have a great opportunity to contribute to that. The implementation of the landmark initiative of GST could be a subject of studies in US business schools.”
CEOs of global multinationals are meeting PM for the CEOs Round Table at the Hotel Willard Intercontinental. Modi will deliver opening and closing remarks at the meeting and will also hear from each chief executive present at the meeting.
