20 hurt as tin shed collapses in Rajasthan

According to the eye witnesses, more than 300 people were sitting on the tin shes at the time when accident occurred.

Around 20 people were injured as a tin shed, in which they were sitting over, collapsed during a tractor pulling competition being held in Dhanmandi area of Padampur in Shriganganagar district on Sunday. 

According to the eye witnesses, more than 300 people were sitting on the tin shes at the time when accident occurred. Shriganganagar SP Yogesh Yadav informed that there were no casualty reported in the accident while 17 persons were injured. All the injured were rushed to the local hospital from where seven of them were referred to the district hospital.

Chief minister Vasundhara Raje has expressed grief over the accident and has prayed for quick recovery of the injured. She also appealed to everyone to not indulge in rumour mongering. CM also ordered the district administration to ensure treatment to the injured and to initiate an inquiry into the matter. PCC chief Sachin Pilot and AICC general secretary Ashok Gehlot also condoled on the tragic incident. Pilot releasing a statement has accused the administration for lapses in the safety arrangement.
