Taylor Swift plays matchmaker for Ed Sheeran

Apart from being a good friend of Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift also played the part of Cupid in his love life.

Sheeran got engaged to his girlfriend Cherry Seaborn during Christmas time last year.

Seaborn and the 'Shape of You' singer went to school together, but they finally became a couple at Taylor Swift's famous 4th of July party.

In a behind-the-scenes video of Swift's song 'End Game,' Sheeran and 'Bad Blood' singer got talking and the cute story of reconnection was revealed.

When Sheeran was invited for the annual bash at Swift's Rhode Island house, he asked if he could bring this 'really cool' girl to the party.

"She's like, 'I'm in Rhode Island!' And I was like, 'Taylor, can she turn up?' And you were like, 'Yeah!' And here we are," the 'Galway Girl' singer explained.

To which Swift added, "Ugh, she’s the coolest."

Sheeran also revealed how he came up with his verses. Turns out after Swift played him the track, he slept on it and the moment he got up he typed out everything.

And to do what this singing duo does best, he incorporated that incident in the verse he sings for 'End Game.'
