Ram Gopal Varma's daughter welcomes baby girl; SS Rajamouli has hilarious congratulatory message for new grandfather

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is currently on cloud nine as he has become a grandfather. Yes, the Sarkar director's daughter Revathi Varma and husband Dr Pranav have welcomed a baby girl. The couple had tied the knot back in 2013 in a private ceremony and now have embraced parenthood. Revathi is the only daughter of RGV, thus, this is indeed the happiest news in their family. However, the filmmaker didn't update the news on his social media pages yet.

But it was SS Rajamouli, who took to his Twitter page and congratulated RGV with a hilarious post. The Baahubali helmer tweeted, "Congratulations Ramu thaatayya garu... Wishing your granddaughter will be the person who will finally rein you in... btw what do you prefer Ramu tata, Ramu Nanna or Grandpa Ramu... @RGVzoomin"

Earlier during his daughter's wedding, RGV had sent a funny text message to his friends, which read as, "Hey, finally even I couldn’t escape this– my daughter is getting married on 15th August at 8,45 am. Please come if you feel like, to see what kind of a joker I will be looking."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ram Gopal Varma had directed two Telugu films namely Lakshmi's NTR and Amma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Biddalu. He is currently helming Hindi film titled Geher which stars Mithun Chakraborty, Amit Sadh, Flora Saini, Manav Kaul and Makarand Deshpande in the lead roles. The film is touted to be a horror flick and is likely to hit the screens this year.
