Paris Hilton apologises to Lindsay Lohan about necklace theft comment

Socialite Paris Hilton has revealed that she feels very bad about the verbal jab she had made at actress Lindsay Lohan regarding the theft of a necklace.

Hilton, 30, who had claimed on her reality show, The World According to Paris, that the difference between her and Lohan, 24, is that she gives away jewellery while the latter steals it, now regrets making the comment.

"I apologise to Lindsay for the comment that I made. I was joking around but it was thoughtless and unnecessary," TMZ.com quoted Hilton as saying while adding she is serious about repairing the relationship.

"I am reaching out to Lindsay so I can tell her myself," she added.
