No Bigg Boss appearance but Mia Khalifa is India’s most-searched pornstar!

Earlier last year, Indian internet lost its head when they found out that Mia Khalifa might be coming to the Bigg Boss house. Sadly, they turned out to be baseless rumours but Indians did discover the porn actress from Yemen who was also the most searched pornstar on Pornhub.com.

A report published in a survey called 'The Goonj India Index 2015' by Goonj Labs has found that Miss Khalifa was the most searched porn-star by Indians followed by Priya Rai. They wrote: “Mia Khalifa was the most sought after Porn Star among Indians, followed by Priya Rai, Julia Ann and Brandi Love. The content format preferences are clearly shifting towards the free video streaming websites like XVIDEOS and PornHub in India. Surprisingly, consumption of pornographic content among Females in India also saw a marked rise of over 23% since last year.”

Who is Mia Khalifa?

She was born in Beirut, Lebanon and moved to the United States of America when she was 10. In 2014, she became the number 1 porn star in the world according to Pornhub.com, and this despite being in the industry for a very short period of time. Her ranking kicked off quite a controversy and she was vehemently attacked on Twitter for her career. The same survey also found that more Indians were looking for a cat than a girlfriend and that Facebook was a more trusted brand than Google.
