Christina Aguilera says she's in 'love' with new boyfriend

Christina Aguilera is already in 'love' with new boyfriend Matt Rutler just weeks after split from husband.

The singer, who filed for a divorce from music producer Jordan Bratman in mid-October, confirms she and Rutler are already on the fast track to a serious relationship.

"There's a love there, yes," the New York Daily News quoted her as telling People magazine.

She met Rutler when he worked as a set assistant on her film "Burlesque."

According to the Daily Mail, she said,  "I'm having fun, I'm dating and it's something I haven't had in a really long time."

"Matthew is a special person...We had a really strong friendship on the movie.

"He's the kind of person you could spend hours on the phone talking to and all of a sudden it's daylight," Aguilera said.

Despite the quick timing, the singer says the relationship didn't turn romantic until she and Bratman split.

"Once I filed for divorce, we started dating," she said.

"I'm not trying to jump into anything. I just left a five-year marriage. I'm taking it slow and trying to be happy," she said.
