The Indian Navy is inviting applications for the posts of Short Service Commission (SSC) Officers. Interested candidates who are unmarried, eligible can apply for the post through the official post of the Indian Navy - joinindiannavy.gov.in. There are a total of 181 vacancies for different posts.

The vacancies for executive, technical branch, and education branches in the Indian Navy. 

The application submissions started on September 21 and will go on till October. The last date to apply for the post is October 5. 

Candidates will be selected on the basis of the selection process based on the Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview.

Selected candidates will be starting their posts from June 2022 at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala. 

Eligibility criteria 

Recruitments in the Indian Navy are taking place in three branches, below listed are the eligibility criteria

Executive Branch: 

Candidates must have a BE/BTech degree in a relevant discipline and should be born between July 2, 1997, and January 1, 2003. 

For sub-branches, different age criteria will be applied. 

Technical Branch: 

Interested candidates must have a degree of BE/BTech in a relevant discipline. Candidates should be born between July 2, 1997, and January 1, 2003.

Education Branch: 

Candidates who wish to apply for the post must have an MSc with physics or maths in BSc, or BE/BTech in a relevant discipline, or an MA in History. The age criteria is the same for it, candidates should be born between July 2, 1997, and July 1, 2001.

As per reports, the salary of the selected candidates will range from Rs 56,100 and Rs 1,10,700.
