The cops had found a bathrobe belt in two pices, from where Sushant Singh Rajput's mortal remains were discovered
The police is further investigating Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case. They came across a new detail - that Sushant had used a bathrobe belt to hang himself previously. Our sources state that the belt was torn and found in two pieces on the floor when Sushant's mortal remains too were discovered.
Sushant had committed suicide by hanging on a green kurta. The cops are now going to further investigate if the kurta could actually bear the actor's weight, or a foulplay was involved in the matter. The green kurta has now been sent for testing in Kalina forensic lab.
When discovered, the kurta was cut to lay Sushant to rest. The kurta has now been sent for testing its ductility. The results would prove whether or not the kurta could bear Sushant's weight. The cops are assuming that Sushant might have used to bathrobe belt to test whether a person can commit suicide with it or no.
The police also informed that Sushant's wardrobe was open while the house was being searched for evidence. They found ironed clothes in a heap of mess and assume that Sushant did so since he was unsuccessful while killing himself the first time with a bathrobe belt.
Sushant committed suicide on June 14, 2020. The actor's last rites took place the same day. His father had flown down to Mumbai for the funeral. The late actor's ashes were immersed in Ganga river in his hometown Patna.
Recently, foul play was ruled out and it was declared that Sushant committed suicide, but there was no evidence to claim why. Various people related to the actor were even called for an investigation. His close friend Rhea Chakraborty was investigated for approximately 10 hours.
