Priyanka Chopra has walked out of Salman Khan's 'Bharat' and it may have something to do with her boyfriend Nick Jonas. The actress informed the team on Thursday evening and her decision has reportedly left Salman baffled.
"It might definitely affect her professional and personal equation with Salman. Those close to the actor maintain how rigid he is about committing to a film and will he forget Priyanka’s decision only time will tell," a BollywoodLife report stated.
Director Ali Abbas Zafar took to social media on July 26 and confirmed that Priyanka, who was supposed to make her Bollywood comeback with Bharat, is no longer a part of the film.The director said that the actress has opted out because of a very special reason and the team is happy for her decision.
Ali Abbas Zafar shared, "Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special , she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her ... Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life." The wink emoticon at the end is raising a lot of questions.

'Bharat' had recently went on floors and Salman Khan and Disha Patani had already begun shooting the first schedule. Priyanka Chopra, who returned to India earlier this month, was suppoosed to join them on the sets in August. Everyone was eagerly waiting for these two actors to reunite on the silver screen a decade after Rumi Jaffrey’s 2008 fantasy-comedy 'God Tussi Great Ho'.
Ali had earlier told Mirror, “Bharat is Priyanka’s homecoming to Bollywood after having proved herself as a performer in a global TV show, Quantico, and in Hollywood. Priyanka is the biggest Indian artiste globally today and a perfect fit for the film as she brings to the table her incredible talent and international appeal.”
It yet remains to be seen who would replace Priyanka Chopra in the film.
