Koena Mitra fake Instagram account: Mumbai crime branch identifies imposter as Sahil Khan

After Koena Mitra filed a cybercrime complaint against a fake account on Instagram, the Mumbai crime branch has identified a person named Sahil Khan in this case. He created a fake fan account in the name of Koena, who is officially not on Instagram. The fan account has many adult contents and has more than 36k followers. Koena had called out these accounts on her Twitter page and urged cybercrime to look into the matter.

As per reports, Sahil Khan was using the fake account of actress Koena Mitra for the last six or seven months. For the same, the email ID was attached on the Instagram page and also had suggested that if anyone wants to do a business inquiry, they should contact the given email ID.

Along with this, a fake YouTube page has also been created in the name of Koena Mitra, in which semi-nude content has been published.

Earlier Koena had called out the fake accounts by writing, "You think it’s a fan club? Do you mean Fans can upload shady pics and videos in my name? These accounts are just trying to defame me. Check their mail/ account details, Bio etc. If this isn’t a crime then what is it?"

She further wrote, "Both objectionable. First of all, It’s not a fan club. Not an FC page. Who’s Sahil and Sana khan? They are running a YouTube channel as well where they upload porn stuff. Read their bio before commenting."

Talking about the fake account, Koena had earlier said, "I filed a cybercrime complaint against that person who had also mentioned his e-mail id. I want the police to take strict action against the same and also want them to check whether he is fooling people under my name."
