Not only Kangana Ranaut, even Kunal Kohli and Genelia Deshmukh showed their support to Vidyut Jammwal
Actor Vidyut Jammwal spoke up after his movie 'Khuda Haafiz' was snubbed by Disney+Hotstar recently. Supporting him was actress Kangana Raanut, who pointed out that 'ill-treatment of outsiders continue'.
"Such a shame that ill treatment of outsiders continues even in territories where everyone is new and an outsider," she tweeted. For the unintiiated, the actress had recently sparked the nepotism debate once again after her video post Sushant Singh Rajput's death. She questioned 'why did Gully Boy bag all awards and not even one for was given to Chhichhore despite critical acclaim?' The actress stood by Vidyut in the fight again.

"A BIG announcement for sure!! 7 films scheduled for release but only 5 are deemed worthy of representation. 2 films, receive no invitation or intimation. It’s a long road ahead. THE CYCLE CONTINUES," tweeted Vidyut after trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced that movies of Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and Varun Dhawan are slated for OTT release on Disney+Hotstar.
The actor received support from Kunal Kohli and Genelia Deshmukh. Kunal wrote, "Yes it does. Sadly & Rightly as Simon & Garfunkel said-After changes upon changes we are still the same. Keep fighting buddy. We’ve never met. But I feel what you’re saying. Stay strong." Meanwhile, Genelia shared, Every film is made with a lot of love, a lot of sweat & a lot people giving it their all. Its only fair to want a little respect, its only fair to expect an invitation, its only fair to have at least been intimated. But then, sometimes even life is not fair. keep walking my friend. More power to you."

Not just Vidyut's 'Khuda Haafiz' but Kunal Kemmu's lootcase was also snubbed by Disney. While Vidyut does not have a godfather per se in the industry, Kunal is married to Soha Ali Khan, and happens to be in-law of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
