A 15-year-old boy was killed by his friend following an altercation over a minor issue late on Tuesday.
Sultan (name changed), a resident of Juhapura area, was at home when the accused, 17-year-old Rohit (name changed), called him outside to play. A dispute broke out between them shortly after the Rohit started teasing Sultan. The argument heated up and Sultan slapped Rohit.
After the incident, Sultan's family took him inside and Rohit left for his house. However, he returned after a while with a knife and stabbed Sultan in the neck, killing him on the spot.
Sarkhej Police were called for help, who reached the spot and nabbed the accused and are now further investigating the matter.
PR Ramani, Inspector at Sarkhej Police Station said, "We have arrested the accused, who is also a minor. While investigating, we learnt that the dispute broke out between the two over a very minor issue."
