Samsung Galaxy A9 to launch in India at 12.30 pm today; check how to watch it live

 Samsung is all set to launch its quad-rear camera Galaxy A9 in India today. The smartphone was first launched in Malaysia last month. Samsung India will be live streaming the launch event in New Delhi at 12:30PM on its website, and Samsung Bharat Newsroom (https://news.samsung.com/in/ ).

During the launch in Malaysia, the Samsung Galaxy A9 was announced for EUR 599 (approximately Rs 51,300) for the European market, but last week India price of Galaxy A9 was spotted in Samsung’s website source code. It revealed that Samsung is planning to launch the A9 in India at Rs 39,000, although official price will only be revealed at the Samsung event this afternoon. The new Samsung smartphone is likely to be available across all platforms. As of now, both Amazon India and Flipkart have put up a teaser image for the smartphone.

Besides the quad-camera setup, the smartphone also comes with a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with 2220×1080 pixels resolution, and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM. There is 128GB storage on board, which can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card.

For security, there is a fingerprint sensor placed at the back, as well as support for Face Unlock. Making sure everything ticks is a 3,800mAh battery. Connectivity options include USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack. On the software front, the device runs Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box with Samsung Experience UI on top. There is also built-in support for Samsung Pay.
