THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPI-M veteran V S Achuthanandan was on Thursday sworn in as the Chief Minister of Kerala, heading a 19-member LDF ministry.
Governor R L Bhatia administered the oath of office and secrecy to Achuthanandan before a huge crowd that turned up to witness the swearing-in held at the Central Stadium behind the Secretariat.
This is the first time that the swearing-in ceremony of a new government in Kerala was being held outside Raj Bhavan premises.
