Veteran Hollywood actor Michael Keaton has played several memorable roles in his career of more than four decades. In the innumerable characters he portrayed, Keaton is remembered and loved for his role as Caped Crusader in two movies - Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992), both directed by Tim Burton. Loyal fans of this Batman series have been waiting to see Michael don the bat-suit once again but it has gone in vain up until now, maybe. 

Yes, as per reports in The Hollywood Reporter, Michael is in talks to reprise his role as Batman in the forthcoming Warner Bros.’ DC movie The Flash. The film stars Ezra Miller in the titular role as Barry Allen and makers are keen to see the veteran actor as Bruce Wayne once again. The film is being directed by It helmer Andy Muschietti. The makers and the actor are yet to confirm or deny the report but this has made fans' excitement to another level.

Michael has earlier played the role of a fading Hollywood actor best known to play the superhero Birdman in the film, Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) released in 2014 for which he even received an Oscar nomination. 

Then, in 2017, Keaton was seen playing the villainous role of Adrian Toomes/Vulture in Spider-Man: Homecoming starring Tom Holland in the titular role. 

Talking about Batman, in the upcoming film titled The Batman directed by Matt Reeves, Robert Pattinson will be playing the role of Caped Crusader and Zoë Kravitz has been roped in to play Catwoman.
