Bosses behind the Twilight franchise have promised that the two-part final installment will not be given a restrictive adults-only rating, contrary to what Robert Pattinson had claimed.

Pattinson had voiced concerns that the graphic content in  Breaking Dawn film will lead censors to either award the movie a higher age rating or force producers to cut out key scenes.

But bosses at Summit Entertainment are adamant the film will clear the censors and be awarded a family-friendly PG-13 rating.

"Breaking Dawn will be a PG-13. It will not be rated R,” the Daily Star quoted a spokesperson for the production company as saying.
