Noted Marathi actress Amruta Subhash, who has been a part of illustrious movies like Shwaas and Vihir, is all set to test her acting prowess in Hindi cinema.

Amruta, who currently is playing the protagonist, Aasawari, in a popular Marati daily soap, Awghachi Sansar, would soon be seen in a Hindi movie, Spaghetti 24X7.

"I was selected to play the romantic lead opposite Mimoh Chakrvarthy after auditions of at least 400 girls," Amruta told PTI.

Spaghetti 24X7, being directed by Gaurav Pandey, is a story of a bartender played by Vijay, and Amruta plays his love interest in the movie.

The movie would also see Mimoh shaking a leg with his father and veteran actor, Mithun Chakravarthy, who himself was quite a rage when it came to dancing in the 80s.

"I was referred to Gaurav Pandey by my theatre guru, Satyadev Dubey. But it was only after auditions that I was selected," Amruta said.

Amruta has been a part of many noted Marathi movies like Shwaas, Valu, Vihir, and Gandh, all which have made a mark at national and international levels.

However, she became a household name after playing the lead character, Aasawari, in the extremely popular Marathi soap.
