UPSC begins registration for NDA, NA exam 2021 for women candidates - Important dates, other details

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) began the registration process for women for the NDA/NA Exams 2021 on Friday (September 24). Women interested in the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II) 2021 can apply online by visiting the official website of UPSC: upsconline.nic.in. 

As per the notification, the last date to apply for the examination is October 8. Women were allowed to register for the exam after the Supreme Court approved the order from this year onwards. 

The exam was earlier scheduled to take place on September 5 but it will now take place along with the Combined Defence Services Examination (II) that is scheduled to take place on November 14. Keep in mind, only unmarried candidates can apply for the examination. Notably, women candidates are not required to pay any kind of fees for the application process. 

The exam aims to fill 370 posts in National Defense Academy and 30 in Naval Academy.  The physical standards required for women to join the NDA/ NA will be notified later by the ministry.
