UPSC Civil Services Examination is one of the toughest examinations in the world. Clearing UPSC and becoming an IAS officer, or clearing any competitive exam for that matter, is a tough job and needs hard work and determination. Today, we will tell you about IAS officer Neha Byadwal who hails from Jamwaramgarh tehsil of Jaipur district of Rajasthan, and her journey towards becoming an IAS officer. 

IAS officer Neha Byadwal comes from a highly educated but humble background. IAS officer Neha Byadwal's father Prahlad Byadwal is a Senior Accountant Divisional Officer in PHED and his mother Rajni Devi is a homemaker. IAS officer Neha Byadwal's elder sister Nisha is an officer in the Indian Engineering Service. It was her sister who inspired IAS officer Neha Byadwal to pursue becoming a civil servant and become an IAS officer. 

IAS officer Neha Byadwal cracked the JEE exam as soon as she passed the 12th board exam. After completing her graduation degree from IIT Kanpur, IAS officer Neha Byadwal started preparing for the UPSC exam. She had failed in the first attempt of the Civil Services Examination (UPSC Civil Services Exam). After this IAS officer Neha Byadwal changed her study strategy and became an IAS officer. 

IAS officer Neha Byadwal had to sacrifice many things to pass the UPSC exam. IAS officer Neha Byadwal had completely distanced herself from 3 things. For three years, IAS officer Neha Byadwal stayed away from social media, friends, relatives, and family functions. Her sacrifice came in handy and she became an IAS officer with 260th rank in UPSC exam 2020 at the age of 24. IAS officer Neha Byadwal is a 2021 batch officer.

IAS officer Neha Byadwal had also, on the social media site Instagram, shared her UPSC mark sheet. Her optional subject was Economics. IAS officer Neha Byadwal had secured 128 marks in the essay. Her total marks in the written examination were 809 and she scored 151 marks in the personality test. IAS officer Neha Byadwal's final total was 960.
