IAS Divya Mittal who was the District Magistrate of Mirzapur is in discussion after she received a farewell from a large number of women who showered rose petals on her in a viral video that went viral on social media platforms. 

Divya became popular due to her way of working in the UP district for women. She got the post after being transferred from Sant Kabir Nagar. She tried connecting with the public to solve the problems they were facing. 

Divya Mittal has been transferred from the Mirzapur region to the Basti region.

About IAS Divya Mittal:
Divya is originally from Rewari, Haryana. She earned an All India Rank (AIR) of 68 in the 2012 UPSC CSE. She earned her engineering degree from the esteemed IIT Delhi. Later, she obtained an MBA from IIM Bangalore. She worked in London and later came back to India with her husband Gagandeep. 

She has shared a technique she uses to study. She used to keep her alarm far away from her so that in the morning when she had to get up for her studies she had to go far to turn off the alarm. She had intense study sessions of 90-120 minutes and followed it up with a 15-minute break. 

Divya passed UPSC in 2012 and became an IPS officer, got Gujarat cadre but she wasn’t satisfied. She took the UPSC exam again in 2013 and this time her hard work paid off and she became an IAS officer. 

She has suggested other aspirants undertake meditation. She practices Trata, a meditation process that involves fixing one gaze on an object which will improve focus.
