The thrilling Asia Cup 2023 tournament is about to come to an end soon, with the final match of the international saga set to take place on September 17 in Sri Lanka. Cricket fans are hoping that the Asia Cup 2023 final takes place between strong teams India and Pakistan.

India has already booked their place in the Asia Cup 2023 finals this year, but it is yet to be determined which team will be facing Rohit Sharma’s skilled squad on September 17. One of the top contenders is Babar Azam-led Pakistan.

However, not many people know that Pakistan holds the world record for winning in the final matches in an international tournament with three or more cricket teams. Out of the total 55 finals it has been part of, Pakistan’s cricket team has won 25 total titles by emerging victorious in the final match.

Pakistan has won 25 out of 55 finals played against the opposing team or at neutral venues. It has lost in 29 while the result of one has not come. Team India has also played 55 finals, but has won only 20. The Indian team has lost 30 finals while 5 did not lead to any results.

West Indies team is at second position by winning 22 titles while Sri Lanka and India are jointly at third position by winning 20 titles each. Australia has won 15 finals and South Africa has won 11 finals. No other team has been able to win 10 titles.

When it comes to the stats of the Asia Cup 2023, Team India skipper Rohit Sharma holds the record for scoring the most runs in the entire tournament with 194 runs. Meanwhile, Pakistan captain Babar Azam is at the third place with 178 runs in three innings.
