After being released by Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) due to his poor form in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, it was Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) who purchased him and surely things took a drastic turn.
In the 2021 campaign, Glenn Maxwell has had a dramatic change in fortunes and was seen smashing the PBKS bowlers across the park in Sharjah. Not just that Glenn Maxwell also smashed his half-century and got 57 runs off just 33 balls. His innings included three 4s and four 6s.

Seeing Maxwell going all out against the bowlers, the Twitter handle of Punjab Kings shared a meme containing the image of legendary Bollywood actor Amrish Puri.
While the image was all, it was text on it that got all laughing as Punjab wrote, "Maxi hum tumko paala hoon'.
