The much-awaited high-octane clash between India and Pakistan in the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup will be taking place on October 24 in Dubai. The rivalry between the two sides goes beyond the game of cricket and now the fight has already begun even before the start of the tournament.

With teams are preparing for the upcoming ICC tournament - be it arriving in UAE and Oman or even the kit and practice sessions - Pakistan to have started their preparation.

However, Pakistan's gesture has now surely irked India and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) - who is the host of the tournament despite it taking place in the Middle East.

The World Cup was originally to be played in India, however, due to the devastating COVID-19 wave, the BCCI and the ICC agreed to shift the venue to Oman and UAE.

Despite the change in venue, BCCI were still the host of the tournament and all logos were to be credited to India. However, it has come to the notice that Pakistan's new jersey for the ICC event has not no mention of India in its logo even though the competition is being hosted by the BCCI.

On the contrary, Pakistan's kit reads "ICC Men's T20 World Cup UAE." Soon enough the pictures of the same went VIRAL on social media. See here:

The act by Pakistan is shocking and embarrassing since the jerseys for several teams are being unveiled and it is India who has been credited as the hosts in their kits. Earlier, even the Netherlands cricket team had disclosed their jersey and the logo read 'India' instead of UAE.

It will remain to see if any official action or changes will be made by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) before they start their Super 12 campaign as the two sides will be playing each other on October 24 at the Dubai International Stadium. The tickets for the clash have already been sold out hours after they were made live.

As far as cricket is concerned, the two countries have not met each other in bilateral competitions and only play against each other in ICC trophies.

Pakistan has also never managed to defeat India in a World Cup fixture - 50 overs or T20. The ICC 2017 Champions Trophy final also saw the Men in Blue winning the competition with a comprehensive victory.
