Suman Munjal is the son of the late Brijmohan Lall Munjal, man behind Hero Group, who passed away in 2015 at the age of 92. He serves as a non-executive director on the board of the Hero MotoCorp, the family's most influential asset and the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, which is led by his younger brother Pawan Munjal.

Suman is the chairman of Rockman Industries, which provides Hero MotoCorp with aluminum die castings. In 1995, he established Rockman's auto components section and began producing motorbike chains. According to Forbes, Munjal has a stunning net worth of $1.2 billion, or around Rs. 9918 crore. He is one of the top business executives in the field.

Who is Suman Munjal?

Rockman Industries Ltd., a renowned manufacturer of automotive components, is headed by Suman Munjal. Rockman, a subsidiary of the well-known Hero Group, is a maker of automobile chains and aluminum die-casting parts with five manufacturing facilities.

Mr. Munjal, a Punjab University graduate with a degree in commerce, has played a crucial role in elevating Rockman Industries Ltd. to the position of a major force in the die-casting sector. In 1975, Mr. Munjal began working for Rockman Cycle Industries Limited, and in 1983, he was appointed the company's CEO.

Under his direction and leadership, Rockman Industries rose to become the world's top producer of bicycle hubs and chains. In 1995, Mr. Munjal started Rockman's vehicle Components Division by producing motorcycle chains. In 2000, he expanded his business into the production of die-cast aluminum vehicle parts. The company has expanded greatly under his direction.

Other group firms that Mr. Suman Kant Munjal is on the board of directors for include Hero Moto Corp (a publicly traded company), Hero Corporate Services, Hero Steels Limited, Hero Future Energies, and BML Educorp (the Hero Group's non-profit university program).

Mr. Munjal serves as the Chairman of the Hero Group's newest endeavor, Hero Electronix, as well as Tessolve Semiconductor Pvt. Ltd. and Mybox Technologies Private Limited, all of which are subsidiaries. Mr. Munjal is a remarkable person who is recognized for treating his Rockman team like family.
