Ever since Luka Chuppi trailer released, one song that people were eagerly waiting for – ‘Poster Lagwa Do’ is finally out. The song is a remixed version of Akshay Kumar’s Aflatoon song ‘Poster Chapwa Do’, which also featured Urmila Matondkar.
‘Poster Lagwa Do’ from ‘Luka Chuppi’ has given the song beats which connects with the youth of today. Right from the time this song starts, you are hooked to its tunes. Actor Kartik Aaryan, last seen in Luv Ranjan’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, also takes the song to a higher notch with his expressions since the start. Him paired with much-in-love Kriti Sanon makes the song a beautiful watch.
One definitely cannot miss Kartik’s mini ‘Khalibali’ move. We don’t know if he has consulted Ranveer Singh before doing that step but baba would be proud that even after a year of ‘Padmaavat’ release, his step is still popular in other Bollywood movies too.
More so, in the scene following that, Kriti’s clothes are reminding us of Madhuri Dixit’s ‘Ek Do Teen’. Interestingly even Jacqueline Fernandez tried to groove to that song in its recreation in Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 2, but she faced backlash. However here Kriti, without even dancing to ‘Ek Do Teen’, is slaying the outfit Madhuri donned in the iconic song.
The makers have added a cute touch to the song when the whole family, including Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurrana join the song towards the end, grooving along with the couple. They even made a family photo which includes Vinay Pathak. Don’t be surprised if you see uncles and aunties dancing to this song with the hook step soon. We can totally imagine the song playing at festivals.
