Bollywood films are much loved across the world for their emotions, drama, action, and sense of familiarity. However, over the years, there have been a few films that were banned outside of India either for their religious sentiments or bold scenes. Today, we will tell you about some Bollywood films that were banned abroad. 

The Dirty Picture 

Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah, Emraan Hashmi starrer The Dirty Picture was banned in Kuwait due to its bold scenes. 

OMG – Oh My God!

Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal's OMG – Oh My God! released in 2012 but was banned in Middle Eastern countries. 

Pad Man

Akshay Kumar, Radhika Apte, and Sonam Kapoor's Pad Man was banned in Pakistan. 

Raanjhanaa

Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor's Raanjhanaa was also banned in Pakistan.

Bombay

Bombay is a 1995 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by Mani Ratnam, starring Arvind Swamy and Manisha Koirala. It was banned in Singapore. 

Udta Punjab 

Shahid Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh, Alia Bhatt, and Kareena Kapoor Khan's Udta Punjab was based on drugs and addiction. It was banned in Pakistan. 

Baby 

Akshay Kumar's film Baby was banned in Pakistan as they believed it portrayed their country in a negative light. 

Delhi Belly 

Delhi Belly received an Adult certification and it was banned in Nepal.
