It seems like, after Gadar 2 mega-success, filmmakers are milking the phase of Sunny Deol 2.0 to the fullest. Yesterday, there was news that JP Dutta is planning to make a sequel of Border with Sunny. Today, we a poster of Maa Tujhe Salaam 2 has been released online, and it has left moviegoers stunned.
Maa Tujhe Salaam 2 is the direct sequel to the 2002 action thriller and the makers announced the shoot commencement with the official poster. The first part was released months after Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and it got huge benefits at the box office. One of the most dialogues of Major Pratap Singh (Sunny) from the movie was "Doodh maangoge toh kheer denge. Kashmir maangoge toh cheer denge." The makers of the film have given a new twist to the popular line for the sequel, "Doodh maangoge toh kheer denge. Kashmir maangoge toh Lahore bhi cheen lenge." Atul Mohan shared the poster and announcement on his Twitter.

As soon as the poster was announced, netizens reacted with mixed feelings. An internet user wrote, "Success of Gadar will follow a lot of these announcements." On the personal front, Sunny is facing financial difficulty. Despite the huge success of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol might suffer a huge loss. Sunny Deol's luxurious villa in Mumbai's Juhu is being auctioned by the Bank of Baroda to recover a loan of Rs 56 crore along with the interest levied on the loan. On Sunday, a notice was issued by Bank of Baroda in a national newspaper.
It mentioned Gadar 2 star Ajay Singh Deol aka Sunny Deol and other loan details. It also mentioned Bobby Deol, whose real name is Vijay Singh Deol, Dharmendra Singh Deol, and their company Sunny Sounds Pvt Ltd as Guarantors and Corporate Guarantor for the loan. The name of the Villa that is going to be auctioned is Sunny Villa which is located on Gandhigram Road in Juhu.
