While the Indian government may voice its stance on relations with China, the reality remains stark: China's government isn't influenced by India's leadership. China persists in its territorial expansion under the One China Policy, regardless of India's leadership changes. Recent events, such as the BRICS conference, shed light on interactions between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Though India asserted its position on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with firm resolve, China's subsequent release of a controversial map has provoked Indian ire. This map designates Aksai Chin and Arunachal Pradesh as Chinese territories, a notion that deeply troubles Indians.

China's actions have exposed its true intentions, rendering its promises hollow. Despite some leaders projecting China as peaceful, its track record raises skepticism regarding its reliability. The 2020 Galwan incident exemplified this, where India's military confronted Chinese aggression, yet China's persistence mirrors that of an insidious force.

Maxar Technologies, an American space company, shared satellite images revealing China's actions in Aksai Chin. These images show China's gradual encroachments, including the establishment of underground military bases. This strategic move signals China's intention to fortify its presence and prepare for potential conflict with India.

Through these images, the evolution of China's encroachments becomes evident. Since December 2021, extensive construction, including military bases and roads, has emerged across Aksai Chin. Notably, China has expanded its radar capabilities with long-range surveillance radar systems.

China's extensive groundwork is evident in its construction of tunnels, enhancing its military preparedness. This comprehensive effort suggests a long-term strategy in play. While India has bolstered its border defenses since the Galwan clash, China is diverting attention with diplomatic overtures while solidifying its presence.

China's diplomatic posture and territorial pursuits have stirred domestic turmoil. India's Foreign Ministry has issued a diplomatic protest against China's map, firmly refuting its claims. Amidst these developments, China's actions cast doubt on its professed commitment to peace and highlight the complexity of the India-China relationship.
