Saumya Tandon is no longer a part of 'Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain'. The actor is quitting the show after the long association since half a decade (five years - 'Bhabhi JI Ghar Par Hain' first aired in 2015). The decision comes amid speculations that she is not happy with the pay cut and does not want to risk her health during COVID-19.

Saumya was one of the popular female faces on the show, and the only popular female face from the show after Shilpa Shinde quit the show within a year (2016). She had accused the makers of mentally torturing her, before coming to 'Bigg Boss 12' and winning the trophy.

While Shilpa had played the role of Angoori bhabhi in the show, Saumya played the role of Anita, who played Aasif Sheikh's wife on the show. Shubhangi Atre had replaced Shilpa Shinde, but there is still no confirmation about who would replace Saumya on the show.

Various reports have mentioned that 'Bigg Boss 13' contestant Shefali Jariwala might be considered for the role. Jariwala has not confirmed or denied the news herself yet, but Saumya declined the rumours.

More details are awaited.
