Watch: Dilwale's Gerua is here with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's sizzling chemistry!

The much anticipated song Gerua from Dilwale was released on Wednesday and immediately making it the most trending topic on social media. The launch event was held at the historic Maratha Mandir, which still runs Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's 1995 blockbuster Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (DDLJ).

While the Dilwale trailer gave us a glimpse into what the film would be like, the song has beautifully captured the evergreen chemistry that SRK and Kajol share.

A day before the release, SRK had said, "Every song has a different reason in the film. They have a celebration song, and then there’s a dream sequence song which is larger than life with the cast. 'Rang De Tu Mohe Gerua' is a romantic  track with Kajol and me in it.” 

Shah Rukh also revealed that Rohit had envisioned the song much before they picturised it. 

“Rohit felt that since Kajol and I are coming back on screen after so many years, we should at least try to make this song stand out, something which is better than all the other songs that we have done together pehle. Aur hum dono ne bohut sundar sundar gaane kiye hai pehle. We are fortunate to have done those songs. So Rohit was very clear about the whole thing. So his choice of locations, the details of the clothing, everything he’s paid attention because he wanted to," SRK said. 

Dilwale directed by Rohit Shetty and also stars Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon and Boman Irani in lead roles. The film is set for a December 18 release.
