Character names revealed for 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'

The filmmakers of Star Wars: The Force Awakens have recently unveiled the character names of new movie with mock-up collectable cards.

The movie will feature Daisy Ridley, who will play a character called Rey, and John Boyega, who plays a stormtrooper called Finn, the Independent reported.

Oscar Isaac would be an X-Wing pilot called Poe Dameron, while a distinctly R2-D2-like robot will be called BB-8.

A sinister figure seen in the first trailer with a special multi-bladed Lightsaber was Kylo Ren, although it was unclear which side he would fight on but it appears likely that he would be on the dark side.
