Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test, MAHATET 2021 exam schedule has been announced, TET will be held between September 15 and December 31.
Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test, MAHATET 2021 exam schedule has been announced by the Minister of School Education for the state of Maharashtra Varsha Gaikwad. According to the schedule, MAHATET 2021 will be conducted from September 15, 2021. This exam would be held in order to recruit teachers for classes 1 to 8 in the state.
The announcement was made by Varsha Gaikwad via her Twitter handle on July 20. The tweet reads, "Here's an opportunity for candidates aspiring to make a career in teaching. We've permitted the Maharashtra State Council of Examination to conduct the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHATET, 2021) between Sept 15 & Dec 31." The Union Education Ministry in June has extended the validity period of the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) qualification certificate from seven years to lifetime retrospectively effect from 2011. The provision of extending the validity period of the TET certificate was discussed by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) in September 2020. However, it has now been implemented after approval from the Ministry of Education.
