Reliance Jio on Friday said it has decided to extend the JioPhone Diwali offer for another month due to unprecedented demand for the past 3 weeks.
The offer, which includes a JioPhone for just Rs 699, was launched last month ahead of Diwali and will continue throughout November.
"The feature phone users who were not able to join the Jio movement during the JioPone Diwali offer, now get another month to avail the benefits of the festive offer and migrate to Jio Digital Life," the company said.
"Through this extension, Jio expects to migrate multi-fold 2G feature phone users onto the JioPhone platform and continue to be the SINGLE-LARGEST 4G DEVICE PLATFORM," it added.
Under its Diwali offer, the company is offering the option of gifting a JioPhone along with recharge plans at a price of Rs. 808. There are four bundles to choose from, depending on the budget. While the cheapest offers cost Rs 808, it goes up to Rs 1996.
JioPhone's current price is Rs 1500 but as part of the 'Diwali Offer', it is available for gifts at just Rs 699.
The company further said that the Diwali offer also brings additional data benefits worth Rs 700 to users. "For the first 7 recharges that the customer does, Jio will additionally add Rs 99 worth of data on EVERY RECHARGE (Rs 99 * 7)," it said.
Here are four gift bundles depending on your budget:
808 plan
As part of the offer, the price of JioPhone is Rs 699. Adding one-month recharge options, and Rs 10 Interconnect Usage Charge (IUC), the package will cost you Rs 808. This will give the person a JioPhone and one month of Jio services.

While the cost of JioPhone will remain same, three-month recharge and Interconnect Usage Charge (IUC) charges will take the total cost of the package to Rs 1006. This will give the person a JioPhone and three months of Jio services.
1501 plan
The third plan under this Diwali offer is valued at Rs 1501. Under this plan, the person will get eight months of Jio services along with the JioPhone.
