Salman Khan, almost every year, launches new stars in Bollywood and make sure they are welcomed by the whole industry warmly. In 2019, the superstar has given a break to yesteryear actress Nutan's granddaughter and Mohnish Bahl's daughter Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal with the film, Notebook. Before the posters for the film were unveiled, the debutantes made several appearances together and people really liked this young and fresh couple.

Finally, the trailer for Notebook has released and it's all about old-world charm! The trailer starts with a dialogue said by Zaheer which makes up for the actual theme of the film - Woh bohot khoobsurat hai, lekin maine usse kabhi dekha hi nahi. Woh bohot bolti hai par maine usse kabhi suna hi nahi. Pyaar ho gaya hai usse, jisse main kabhi mila hi nahi. (She is very beautiful, but I haven't seen her... She talks a lot, but I haven't heard her speak. I have fallen in love with a girl I have never met.) The film is shot extensively in the beautiful locales of Kashmir. In the first 30 seconds, the trailer not only shows the beauty of Kashmir but also the constant threat under which the people of the state live.

Notebook's trailer shows Pranutan as Firdaus, a school teacher in 2007, who teaches seven students in an isolated place across the lake. The very next year, her wedding gets fixed due to which she has to leave school and Zaheer aka Kabir becomes her substitute. Kabir is shown as an injured army guy, who takes up the job of teacher for a living. Though Kabir has never met Firdaus, her writings in a book, make him fall for her. He gets disappointed when through the book and students, he gets to know that she has left the school to get married. We have to wait and watch to see whether they finally see each other or only a notebook becomes the eye-witness of their beautiful love story.

Apart from a beautiful two mins 51 seconds of Pranutan, Zaheer and Kashmir, the trailer surprised us by showing the recreated version of Bumbro song from Hrithik Roshan and Preity G Zinta starrer Mission Kashmir.

Notebook is directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Salman under his home production SKF along with Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde. The film is slated to release on March 29, 2019.
