'Masakali 2.0' teaser: Sidharth Malhotra-Tara Sutaria give major 'Marjaavaan' vibes in upcoming music video

On Monday, it was announced that Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria will be featuring in a music video titled 'Masakali 2.0'. Yes, it's the recreated version of Delhi 6 song which originally featured Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam K Ahuja. Now, the teaser for the music video out and it gives us a glimpse of Sidharth and Tara's sizzling chemistry. Moreover, it will also give major Marjaavaan vibes which was their first outing together.

The teaser starts with them stuck inside a house. They are seen dancing and showering their onscreen love on each other too. Sidharth and Tara do make for an awesome romantic duo and the teaser will make you excited for the music video too. 'Masakali 2.0' is set to be unveiled on March 8, 2020, and makers promise a visual treat amid lockdown.

The song is sung by Tulsi Kumar & Sachet Tandon and the music is recreated by Tanishk Bagchi. The original track was composed by AR Rahman and original lyrics were penned by Prasoon Joshi.

Earlier while talking about the music video, Sidharth told Mumbai Mirror, "We have unintentionally made a song revolving around two people cooped up indoors and still doing a lot of masti."

While Tara shared, "It was a breeze. It’s such a catchy song despite being a midtempo tune. Bhushanji and Tanishk have reimagined the 2.0 version beautifully while Tulsi and Sachet have given it a fun, sexy spin, which I love."
