Based upon the importance of sex education in the Indian schools Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi's OMG 2 was released in the theatres last week with an A certificate. Both the leads actors have shared their disappointment and also questioned CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) for the same.

Now, another actor from the Amit Rai directorial, Govind Namdev has slammed CBFC, stating that it should have censored 'behooda' Adipurush instead of chopping up a thoughtful and progressive film OMG 2.

The veteran acto, who was also seen in the first part OMG - Oh My God! in 2012, took to his Facebook recently and wrote, "OMG, O MY GOD is released finally with 24 Censor cuts and senseless A certificate so that teenagers should not see the movie for whom the movie is made and censor has passed it!".

Govind further added, "Jo dimaag censor board ko Adipurush jaisi behooda film mein lagana chahiye tha wo unhone ‘Oh My God” jaisi thoughtful aur progressive film ko kaatne kootne mein kharch kar diya! Waah! (CBFC should've applied some brain while assessing a foolish film like Adipurush. But instead, they put all their brains in chopping up a thoughtful and progressive film like OMG 2)." Prabhas and Om Raut's Adipurush was heavily criticised for the deroragotry language in its dialogues.

Concluding his post, the actor requested CBFC to reconsider its decision as he wrote, "It will be a wise step if censor rectify its mistake and give at least UA certificate to let a positive revolution set in for the betterment of our society’s teenagers upbringing. Thunderous applause by the audiences in theatres today speaks volumes about the film. God bless."

OMG 2 also features Yami Gautam, Pavan Raj Malhotra, Govind Namdev, Aarush Varma, Arun Govil, and Brijendra Kala among others in supporting roles. The film has won the hearts of the audiences and is working well at the box office too earning Rs 100 crore worldwide, despite geting stiff competiion from Sunny Deol's actioner Gadar 2.
