It's been nearly two weeks since Apple announced its new iPhone 12 and people have been really excited about it. So far, we've heard all the positives things about the new device. However, there's something about the smartphone that might bother you and may even be a dealbreaker if you're looking for an all-in-one package. It is the iPhone 12's battery.

Questions are now being raised about the battery life of Apple iPhone 12. As per reports, the battery of the phone isn't very powerful and even lasts less than that of its predecessor iPhone 11 Pro Max and the iPhone 11 Pro.

Tech website notebookcheck.net claims that the phone doesn't pack enough battery and it doesn't last long. YouTuber Arun Maini recently compared many iPhones and said that the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro have a 2815 mAh battery, which is not very powerful.

The tech site has claimed that the iPhone 12 and iPhone 11 Pro were tested after a full charge. The iPhone 12 battery ran out in just 6 hours and 35 minutes. While at that time, the iPhone 11 Pro had about 18 per cent battery left.

Here is how the battery in other iPhones performed as per the report.

iPhone 11 Pro Max: 8 hours 29 minutes
iPhone 11 Pro: 7 hours 36 minutes
iPhone 12: 6 hours 41 minutes
iPhone 12 Pro: 6 hours 35 minutes
iPhone 11: 5 hours 8 minutes
iPhone XR: 4 hours 31 minutes

It may be noted that the latest iPhones were launched on October 13. The top versions -- iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max -- will be available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB models in graphite, silver, gold, and pacific blue, starting at Rs 119,900 and Rs 129,900, respectively.

iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini will be available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB models in blue, green, black, white and red colours, starting at Rs 79,900 and Rs 69,900, respectively.

The iPhone 12 models feature expansive edge-to-edge Super Retina XDR displays for a brighter, more immersive viewing experience, and a new Ceramic Shield front cover, providing the biggest jump in durability ever on iPhone.

iPhone 12 models also introduce MagSafe, offering high-powered wireless charging and an all-new ecosystem of accessories that easily attach to iPhone.
