As the year comes to an end, we make a list of songs that quite literaly struck a chord in our hearts.
Bollywood has never left the audience in want of some ‘naach-gaana’. This year too, we saw some songs touching our hearts either with their thumping music or their soothing tunes. Here are the top 10, that made our list:
a) Humari Adhuri Kahaani
The entire album made us go crazy, thanks to its heartfelt and fresh music. Singers like Armaan Mallik, Ami Mishra and Arijit Singh blew away our minds with their voices . Songs like ‘Ha Hasi Ban Gae’ and the title song Humari Adhuri Kahaani are gems to listen to.

b) Roy
This album made us go crazy. Be it ‘Suraj Dooba Hain’ or ‘Tu Hain Ki Nahi’, songs from Roy were considered blockbuster hits. And who can forget the sexy Jacqueline Fernandes in ‘Chittiya Kallaiya’. Unlike the movie, Roy album scores well in the list.

c) Bajrangi Bhaijaan
The movie stole our hearts and left us wanting for more of Salman Khan’s 'Bhaijan'-ness. However, equally good were the songs composed by Pritam for this movie. Be it the 'Bajrangabali anthem', Atif Aslam’s melodic ‘Tu Chaiye’ , the party song of Mika Singh or even Adnan Sami’s heart-warming ‘Bhar do jholi’ - each song is a beautiful composition. Two thumbs up.

d) Badlapur
The songs of the movie Badlapur was a hit collection of amazing music. Be it Atif Aslam’s ‘Jeena jeena’ or ‘Jee Karda’, Badlapur songs were some of the best we have seen from the repertoire of music composers Sachin-Jigar.

e) Dilwale
Though Dilwale movie came later in the year, each of its composition was amazing. Songs like 'Gerua' had the maximum number of hits upon its release. Watching two hotties Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon do hip-hop in 'Manma Emotion Jaage', Arijit Singh’s 'Janam Janam' and a quirky composition of 'Tukur Tukur' - Pritam makes sure that you will never forget his songs ever.

f) Bajirao Mastani
Sanjay Leela Bhansali makes sure that you go crazy whenever his movie’s music album has to release. From Bajirao Mastani we had expected the same .Though the songs this time are not at par with Bhansali’s earlier compositions like Devdas or Ram-Leela, some songs which we can never forget would be ‘Aayat’ and ‘Deewani Mastani’.

g) Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo
What happens when Himesh Reshammiya teams up with Salman Khan? Blockbuster songs are made. ‘Prem Leela’, ’Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, ‘Jab Tum Chaho’, ‘Jalte Diye’ and ‘Aaj unse milna hai hume’ will be enjoyed even after you hear them after some years. Gems indeed.

h) Tamasha
Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone would have done all the required Matargashti on the screens but the songs do not leave us disappointed. After Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, the amazing compositions by A.R.Rahman (yet again) in 'Matargashti', 'Agar Tum Saath Ho', 'Wat wat' , 'Heer toh badi sad hai' and even 'Safar nama' just reassure us that he rules the song charts.

i) Tanu Weds Manu Returns
The songs of the movie are as equal a hit as the movie was. The voices of Swati Sharma and Brijesh Shandilya in ‘Banno tera Swagger’ and Jyoti Nooran in ‘Baanvri’ are a cherished collection. In fact, ‘Move on’ by Sunidhi Chauhan is quite a surprise too.

j) Hate story 3
The movie may have garnered mixed responses by critics and viewers but its songs were a sure audience garner. ‘Wajah Tum ho’ and even ‘ Tumhe Apna banane ka’ are some songs which we can never forget. Even ‘Issaq’ and ‘Neendein Khul Jaati Hain’ are pump-up songs from the collection.
