Amber Rayne, who accused porn star James Deen of sexual assault, found dead

Among the women accusing Deen of sexual assault was also his former girlfriend, adult film actress Stoya.

Former porn star Ambre Rayne was found dead in her Los Angeles home on Tuesday. The 31-year-old had recently accused another adult film actor James Deen of sexual assault.

An autopsy was performed on Rayne on the same day but investigators will wait for a full toxicology report before determining the cause of death, the LA Times reported.

According to the Washington Post, Rayne began her career in the adult film industry in 2005 and has 500 films to her credit. She was one among other women who accused Deen of sexual assault in 2015. 

Rayne had alleged that Deen punched her in the face twice during a porn shoot in 2006. In an interview to the Daily Beast she had said, “It took many years before we worked together again… my agent showed up at the end of that scene and said, ‘We’re taking you straight to the hospital.’ He was pissed.”

Rayne worked with Deen several years later. She recounted the experience to the Daily Mail saying, “I went in [to the scene] waiting for a battle, ‘I’m going to take you on now,’. “It was a challenge, like, ‘I will break you,’ and it ended up being a really sweet scene. At the time, people really liked working with him and it was that scene when I realized why … It seemed like he’d grown up significantly, at least in his interactions with me, and I grew into a stronger person as well.”

Among the women accusing Deen of sexual assault was also his former girlfriend, adult film actress Stoya.

Deen had denied the allegations and said he was "shocked" and "baffled" by them. On Tuesday, he tweeted-
