Television's hottest bachelor Gautam Rode is off the market. The actor tied the knot with his girlfriend Pankhuri Awasthy on Monday and it looks like one royal affair. 

Away from the hustle bustle of Mumbai and even their home Delhi, the couple chose Alwar in Rajasthan as their wedding destination. A stunning fort palace in Alwar has turned into the wedding location for the lovebirds. Like their grand engagement and sangeet, the wedding too took place at Tijara Fort Palace. 

The pictures from Gautam and Pankhuri’s fairy-tale wedding have gone viral. Surrounded by mountains, fields and Jain Temples, Gautam and Pankhuri have chose one pretty location to walk down the aisle. While Gautam is seen sporting a cream-coloured and embroidered silk churidar kurta which he teamed up with a pagdi (turban) and beaded sehra, Pankhuri looked surreal in a heavily embroidered pink ghagra choli.

Previously, pictures from the haldi, mehendi ceremonies, cocktail and other functions started doing the rounds on social media. For the mehendi ceremony, the couple opted for bright and beautiful colours. Since they had a small roka function with only family members in attendance, engagement to sangeet and wedding functions are being celebrated in a royal setting.

Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy confirmed their relationship status on Diwali last year. The duo first met on the sets of the TV show Suryaputra Karn and became friends. Slowly, their friendship turned into love and only a few who are very close to the couple were aware of their relationship.
