Date, place, time: Here are details from Akash Ambani-Shloka Mehta wedding

Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's wedding preparations are on in full swing. The much-awaited wedding is set to take place tomorrow but the function got a kickstart post the Mala and Mehendi function which was held a day prior in the city of Mumbai.

We now have details of the time and place of each ceremony which will take place on the big day. Akash and Shloka will tie the knot in Mukesh Ambani's latest find Jio's open grounds i.e. Jio World Centre, which is located in Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC).

The baarat will assemble at Trident Hotel, BKC at 3.30 pm. This ceremony has been termed as 'the assembly of baarat'. This will be followed by 'baarat swagat' and 'high tea' at 6.30 pm. After the guests relish some delicacies, they will witness the last stage of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's wedding.

Akash and Shloka's 'Hasta Melap' would take place at 8.01 pm. For the uninitiated, Hasta Melap is the ceremony where the bride and the groom join hands and the preist blessed them for a bright life, declaring them husband and wife officially. This would be followed by dinner.

The couple celebrated their Mehendi function after hosting pre-wedding bashes in Switzerland and Mumbai. While Arjun Kapoor-Malaika Arora and Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt, Shah Rukh Khan, Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez were part of the ceremony held in Switzerland, the Mumbai bash was Harry Potter themed and saw a performance by Guru Randhawa.
