Ranveer Singh goes rustic with Mahesh Babu in throwback pic from their sets

Ranveer Singh has shared a BTS photo from the sets of Thumbs Up. The actor was shooting for the ad along with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu. While the first photos leaked from the sets showed Ranveer and Mahesh in their uber-cool avatar, the ones Ranveer shared saw them in a rustic avatar.

Ranveer Singh, wearing a muddy shirt with a jacket, could be seen talking to Mahesh Babu. He appeared to be making the signal of driving a car. For the uninformed, Ranveer and Mahesh played Formula 1 race drivers in the Thumbs Up ad.

While Ranveer had the 'muddy' look, Mahesh Babu simply wore clothes that made him look more rustic. The actor looked at Ranveer with eagerness as the latter spoke. Mahesh Babu was seen in a more 'forest' look.

Ranveer took to his official, verified Instagram page and shared the image. "One of the finest gentlemen I have had the privilege to collaborate with. Our interactions are always enriching . Love & Respect to big brother Mahesh Garu," he wrote alongside the picture.

Ranveer Singh and Mahesh Babu have not yet collaborated on a movie. While Ranveer has never worked in a Telugu film, Mahesh Babu is also yet to make his debut in Bollywood.

On the work front, Ranveer is awaiting the release of two of his movies - Kabir Khan-directed '83' and Rohit Shetty's cop franchise film 'Sooryavanshi'. Mahesh Babu, on the other hand, makes his debut with Parasuram in 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata'.
