Namaste England: Witness Arjun Kapoor-Parineeti Chopra’s crackling chemistry in Tere Liye

The trailer of Namaste England, which has received over 20 million views, has been appreciated by film buffs. After treating viewers to an interesting promo, the makers of the Arjun Kapoor-Parineeti Chopra-starrer unveil its first song, Tere Liye, today. Set against the colourful backdrop of Punjab, it showcases the lead actors’ romantic journey and the unmissable chemistry blooming between them. 

While lyricist Javed Akhtar has penned the track and Mannan Shaah has composed it, Atif Aslam as well as Akanksha Bhandari have rendered it. Director Vipul Amrutlal Shah shares, “I’ve always had a tradition of incorporating a soft number in my films. Whether it was Namastey London (2007) or Singh is Kinng (2008), I’m just continuing the same with Tere Liye in Namaste England. A love story without a romantic song is incomplete. Mannan, Javed sahab and Atif have done a wonderful job with this track to give it the kind of soul it requires.”

Namaste England, which is presented by Jayantilal Gada (PEN) & Reliance Entertainment in association with BlockBuster Movie Entertainers, traces the journey of Jasmeet (Parineeti) and Param (Arjun). It tracks their story from Punjab to Ludhiana, Amritsar, Dhaka, Paris, Brussels and finally London.
