Raigad bus accident: After tragedy, family of the deceased stare at void in life

The tragic bus accident in which nearly 33 are feared to be dead shocked family and friends of deceased. Employees of Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth (BSKKV), Dapoli, district at Ratnagiri had planned a trip when the accident took place on Saturday morning.

Barring a few, most of the people in the bus were in their 30's and survived by wife and young children. Yogesh Shinde, brother-in-law of Nilesh Tambe (32), who was one of the person travelling in the bus, said, "We don't know about his picnic. But we just knew that he was going for some official work. We are now in a state of shock and cannot speak to anyone." Shinde said that Tambe was recently married and lived with his parents.

Manoj Bhambid, brother of Prashant Bhambid (33) who too died in the accident said, "I just came with the body at home. We don't know about his picnic plan. He has one small son. He was too young to die." 

Sudesh Zagade, cousin brother of Sachin Zagade (33) who was working as a clerk in the BSKKV, said, "Zagade's father was off and he was living with his wife, 3 year old daughter and mother. He has two elder brother too. We don't know anything about his picnic."

Pravin Rane, friend of Rajaram Gawde (36) who was an employee in BSKKV, said, "How the accident happened is not clear. But Gawde lived with his wife who is pharmacy officer and 5 year old son. His parents live in village."
