Sunny Deol's youngest son Rajveer Deol, who is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Poonam Dhillon's daughter Paloma, recently opened up on 2023 being lucky for the Deol family and credited his brother Karan Deol's wife and his sister-in-law, Drisha Acharya for bringing good fortune to the family.

While speaking to DNA India, Rajveer said that his family has a massive fan following, and there is immense love and respect for his father, uncle (Bobby Deol), and grandfather (Dharmendra) among the masses. Rajveer lauded Bobby's stint in OTT with Aashram, and said, "I think for my chacha it's incredible how he got into a character which is so different from what he used to do in movies. It takes a lot of guts to do that." Rajveer further revealed that his family firmly believes that his elder brother, Karan Deol's wife, and his sister-in-law, Drisha Acharya, have brought good fortune to the family, "My brother got married, and my sister-in-law brought us so much good fortune. All of us at home truly believe that." Adding his father's latest blockbuster Gadar 2 as another major achievement, Rajveer is hoping that he will continue that momentum with his film.

In the same conversation, Rajveer revealed that their family lacked relevance and social media presence. "I think in today's age of social media, if you're ain't relevant, then you are out of people's mind. And also, Dad (Sunny) was big in the 80s and the 90s and a little bit in the 2000s. So, (when he came back with Gadar 2) they thought that the old-school formula was dated. But what I truly believe is that people don't know exactly what they want," Rajveer said, "The audience does not know what they want. This is because the recent movies have a little bit of flavour of the 90s, and you can see that the public misses that so much. So it was an eye-opener for all of us," Rajveer added.
